Q1- What is the initial booking fee for? Is it refundable?
Booking fees are taken upon booking to reserve the chosen inflatables, the amount is deducted from the total balance. Booking fees are non refundable. In the event of cancellation, up to one week before the hire date, you will be offered to transfer the booking fee amount to a new booking on another date within 6 months alternatively you will forfeit the amount.
Q2 - Can I cancel my booking if I change my mind?
Cancellations on single bouncy castle bookings do not occur additional charges, above the initial booking fee, as long as they are more than 1 week before the booking date. After this there is a cancellation fee of 100%. For multiple and/or event bookings cancellations do not occur additional charges, above the initial booking fee, as long as they are more than 1 month before the booking date. After this there is a cancellation fee of the full amount.
Q3 - What happens if it is forecast to rain on the date of my hire?
In the event rain is forecast for the hire date Bexley Castles allows you to phone and cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the stated delivery date and time and transfer the initial booking fee to a date within 6 months. If you choose to outright cancel and not rearrange the booking fee is non refundable. Cancellations due to rain within 24 hours of the delivery date and time are not transferable and are charged at 100% of the full hire fee due to the operational costs incurred by Bexley Castles. If you go ahead with your hire we are not responsible for the weather.
Q4 - What happens if high winds are forecast on the date of my hire?
Bexley Castles are continually monitoring weather forecasts and accessing the suitability of set ups. In the event high winds are forecast for your chosen hire date we will be in touch to discuss options. If the winds are too high it is not safe for us to set up the equipment and an alternative date will be offered.
Q5 - In the event the inflatable does not fit what happens?
Upon booking it is the hirers responsibility to ensure the chosen inflatable fits in the required space. If we arrive and the desired space is too small or unsuitable there will be a 100% cancellation charge. We still have to pay our staff and fuel costs as well as the lose we incur as the item could have been hired at full cost to another customer. Please ask for advice before booking if you are not sure.
Q6 - How do I pay?
Upon booking you will be asked for a booking fee or full payment via worldpay (card payment). Any outstanding balance due on on delivery can be settled in cash.
Q7 - How do I book?
Decide on the product you want and check it is available via the live online availability tool. Then click book now and follow the simple instructions. Email confirmation will be sent once you have submitted the details. Please check you receive this. Alternatively you can call and place a booking over the phone however we do prefer if you are able to use the online booking form due to ease and quickness
Q8 - What is included in my booking?
Chosen inflatable, delivery, set up, collection, electric blower, 25m lead and one mat on specified inflatables
Q9 - Which areas does Bexley Castles deliver to?
Bexley Castles delivers to Bexley and the surrounding areas of Dartford and Bromley. Please see our 'delivery area' tab on the main page for a comprehensive list
Q10 - What age group is the equipment for?
As a general rule play park and soft play is intended for ages 0-5 year olds. Children's bouncy castles up to 12 years old and adult bouncy castles for all ages. Each product item will state suitable ages
Q11 - How long is the hire period?
For home bookings we deliver between 7am and 11:30am and collect from 6pm at our discretion. For venue or hall hire we are able to tailor our service and you will be requested to provide arrival and collection time on the booking form. If Overnight collection has been selected this will be from 7am the next day. If multi day hire then collection is from 6pm on the last day.
Q12 - Do you offer overnight hire?
Yes, the majority of our inflatable’s can be kept overnight for an additional £30
Q13 - Do I need to make any preparations?
Yes. Ensure you have the correct cash on the morning of delivery. Have a clear access to where you want the equipment set up (Move any bins, rubbish or furniture that may be in the way as we require a trolley width of space). Clear any dog mess, rubble, trampolines, garden furniture, washing lines or poles. Cut down overhanging bushes or trees. This will enable quick set up and avoid refusal to set up
Q14 - Are you insured?
Yes, we have public liability insurance to the sum of 5m
Q15 - Do you provide rain covers?
The majority of our bouncy castles have a sewn on rain cover (few exception's include low height v shape units, platform slides, play park and soft play)
Q16 - My garden is on a slope, can i still hire?
We are able to cater for gardens with a small gradient
Q17 - How long does set up take?
We are able to set up within 30 minutes. Similarly we need 30 minutes to pack up once the party is finished. For hall hires we request a minimum window of 45 minutes before and after the party to allow for set up and any unforeseen delays.
Q18 - Do you deliver to public houses?
Unfortunately we cannot facilitate bookings to public houses as our PL insurance policy does not cover it
Q19 - Can I hire multiple products for a school inflatable day, event or venue?
Yes, we have lots of experience catering for such events and have wide variety of package options. Please contact us with desired items and event details and we will be able to give a discounted price. We will require a deposit or full payment when ordering numerous inflatables. We can provide safety and user information for your staff manning events

Q21 - Is contactless delivery service available?
We operate on a hygiene first basis, which means before users are able to access all of our products follow a strict cleaning procedure using only the recommended antibacterial cleaning products. Furthermore hiring can be completely contactless. All paperwork can be completed electronically and payments can be made in full via our online worldpay system. If you can leave side or rear access gates open than delivery and collection can be completed with absolutely no interaction.
